Southern Highlands Tours

90 minutes drive from Sydney.
The Southern Highlands are renowned for their historic buildings,
antique shops and craft centers and many resorts in the area that
were known for their climatic and scenic attractions as “..resembling
a fine extensive pleasure ground in England”( Governor Macquarie).

with many historical buildings such as the courthouse and gaol
and the oldest licensed hotel(pub) in Australia. Large variety

- Fitzroy Falls – a pleasant walk to view this magnificent
waterfall, that plunges over sandstone cliffs into the rainforest
of Yarrunga Valley.
- Bowral – Originally a popular retreat for the wealthy
Sydneysiders, this quaint town offers a relaxed atmosphere,
wonderful Devonshire Tea , leafy mansions and beautiful gardens,
Tulip Festival ( September-October) and the Museum of the greatest
Cricket player in history – Sir Donald Bradman.
- Jamberoo Lookout – one of the finest lookouts overlooking
the South Coast.
- Minnimurra Rainforest – An easy walk in Australia’s
southernmost accessible subtropical rainforest. Here you see
more than 80 species of native trees and the ultimate opportunity
to meet the Superb Lyrebird.
